It is 750m long with almond trees and grasses throughout a portion of the beach. Its waters are peaceful, with clear and fine sand. It is in a residential area and has a sidewalk across the seashore used for walking, jogging and cycling. It is also ideal for sailing sports. It is bordered by bars and restaurants, the city’s biggest night hype. The Church São Francisco Xavier was built on a hill at the end of the beach.
